Metals Consumption
Copper and aluminum are the primary metals used in all General Cable wire and cable products. Since the quantity of these metals used provides a good gauge of the level of production, we divide consumption and bi-products metrics by the total metric tons of copper and aluminum used (MMT) so we can track our performance from year to year.
