Recycling

General Cable is committed to operating its business and facilities in a way that reduces their impact on the environment. We have comprehensive recycling and conservation plans in place to reduce, reuse and recycle the materials we use to manufacture and deliver our wire and cable products.

Copper and Aluminum

Copper and aluminum are the primary metal materials used in our products. We have implemented extensive Lean initiatives to minimize waste, and we recycle all of the copper and aluminum content in all scrap wire and cable.
